Cyber Security Engineer I
Current· Assist with the implementation of Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities, such as Authorization and Assessment items, including but not limited to, documenting, and maintaining System Security Plans, Plan of Actions and Milestones, and Continuous Monitoring· Assist with and perform assessments of systems and networks within the networking environment or enclave and identify where those systems and networks deviate from acceptable configurations, enclave policy, or local policy· Assist with and perform establishing strict program control processes to ensure mitigation of risks and supports obtaining authorization and assessment of systems. Includes support of process, analysis, coordination, security certification test, security documentation, as well as investigations, software research, hardware introduction, and release, emerging technology research inspections, and periodic audits· Assist in performing analyses to validate established security requirements and recommend additional security requirements and safeguards· Can support multiple security environments with the diverse security requirement · Assists/familiar with Personnel Security (PERSEC), Communication Security (COMSEC), Operational Security (OPSEC), security education, conducting security incident investigations, accreditation of secure areas at various levels, and performing access control and physical security responsibilities
