I started in 1999 in a customer & technical support role - the lead liaison between our online customers and Engineering. I moved into a split people-manager/programmer role performing ongoing support of data warehouse and internal reporting services. Eventually I moved into a more focused Engineering role building data marts for vertical reporting and analysis needs within the company. I am expert at SQL/T-SQL, Microsoft SSIS (ETL) and data analysis. I create and maintain all stages of data marts from modeling/design to staging, aggregation and presentation of rich application data. Most recently I am dabbling with Big Data and challenged with consolidating many data sources into a single system-of-record using IBM Puredata (Netezza) and learning how best to load data into this massive and fast warehouse! I am eager to soak up the fast-changing Big Data world.

System Adminstrator for Sun OS/Netscape webserver on Sparc Station hardware. Responsible for operations of Intuit-related services. (Unix admin, shell programming, load balancing, web services).

Acted as liaison between the Customer Support and Engineering organizations. Key member of the team that ported our flagship Automated Call Distribution (ACD) system from a Unix/Informix/Motorola platform to NT/Oracle/Intel. System and DB administration for Oracle data mart product. 2.5 years Customer Support supporting our ACD product.

System administrator for Unix and AIX environments. Custom software development using Informix 4GL, C and Bourne/Korn shell. Developed a menu-driven backup application, ported databases and a custom medical-transcription software in C.
