Accomplished higher education leader, administrator, educator and speaker, with experience supporting diverse individuals and collaborating within and across organizations. Purposeful advocate and positive instigator of change. Past chairs of both the NC State University Strategic IT Committee and NC State University Council on the Status of Women (Chair Emeritus). Past member of the Paid Parental Leave workgroup that worked tirelessly for over four years to help get Paid Parental Leave adopted by and implemented into the UNC System in 2019. Direct experience in institutional level Information Technology strategic planning, coordinating and facilitating large technology projects, learning technology needs assessment and evaluation, instructional design for both fully online and blended learning environments, and instructional technology training and support. Experienced educator from middle school - graduate education. Interested in helping individuals leverage technology to augment their teaching and learning experiences, new and emerging technologies, and working collaboratively to share and build knowledge, support for instructional technologies. Passionate about helping people.Currently lead a technical and professional staff of 119 FTE plus additional graduate students, undergraduates and temporary staff, as well as manage a substantial budget in support of our enterprise academic technology services. Teach one graduate course in spring/fall on Instructional Systems Design via NC State's College of Education' Educational Leadership, Policy and Human Development (ELHPD) department, purposefully using the enterprise academic technology tools that our team supports.
