After many years in Hotels from The Plaza Hotel in New York, to The Arizona Biltmore, RIHGA Royal Hotel New York and The Hay-Adams in Washington DC; Daniel has been exposed to and trained by some of the best Hoteliers in the industry. Many of the properties were either renovations or openings totaling $800M in commercial development, adding another dimension to the job experience which has proven critical to his success. These Development opportunities and experience were part of the decision to join the Tinley Park Convention Center in 2009 to liaise with the contractors in assisting the Village Manager during the expansion of the Tinley Park Convention Center which was completed June 4, 2011.At present Daniel is the asset manager for the HARP Group ownership team that has recently purchased the Waterfall Fishing Resort and secured the management of The Steamboat Bay Fishing Club both off the Prince of Wales Peninsula in Southern Alaska. After converting the Tinley Park property to the EVEN Hotel Chicago-Tinley Park; the property has received the 2021 Stella Award. The award honors excellence in the meeting industry. The re-branded EVEN Hotel was converted on December 23, 2020. The award in for the best Hotel renovation in the Midwest for 2020. A graduate of the Catholic University of America, a results oriented leadership approach would be Daniel’s defining characteristic. In his experience he has had the opportunity to develop managers from all walks of life creating a very diverse work environment. In the time at the Tinley Park Convention Center he has served on the Board of the Southland Chamber of Commerce, as well as Board Chair of the Southland Convention & Visitors Bureau. He is currently the Commission Chair of the Marketing and Branding Commission of Tinley Park and well as on the Board of Directors of the Economic & Commercial Commission.
