RevGenius is a group of revenue-generating sales and marketing professionals brought together to learn, share, support, and grow with each other.

Starting as Software Engineer, I was promoted to an Application Integration Manager after two years to lead the integration team that managed massive data flow between SaaS applications and core banking platforms.The scope of this position focused on working with bank clients to strategize about and streamline the data exchange process to ensure maximum security and accuracy. I also coordinated between internal teams and the customer for a successful go-live.I successfully architected and developed in-house Apps for data extract, migration, and custom web services for data transfer. I also designed and executed security algorithms to protect sensitive data and prevent potential leaks.

Developed and implemented .Net Framework customized classes, web pages, and web services for Windows and web applications (ASP.NET, AJAX, SQL, XML) as well as event-driven web apps using C#.Net. Integrated Paypal and QuickBooks payment gateways for online shopping using web services. Worked with live network and security systems such as firewalls, proxy servers, FTP servers, etc. for setup and troubleshooting.

NyaConcepts was a spin-off from NyaWebs specializing in developing innovative software products. After experimenting with multiple ideas, we chose three to market:i) Ookaka—a consumer product search engine.ii) iFolio—an engine to track every company and summarize updates for the general publiciii) Social9—a social share widget.While we were developing Ookaka, iFolio, and Social9, we realized the problem of consumer authentication (login) on the web and mobile. We got so frustrated with developing and maintaining an authentication system that we decided to solve it for everyone. Thus, LoginRadius was born, a consumer authentication API for developers.

This was my second venture. I co-founded NyaWebs as a web development agency to help SMB owners get their businesses online. I was primarily responsible for understanding the client’s requirements, defining the project, and working closely with them to develop the desired product. As the business grew, we ended up building a team of eight and delivered over 18 major projects in a short period of two years. It was a great learning experience as it helped me develop key skills in customer communication, product strategy, and development. However, the project became difficult to scale. Consequently, we decided to focus our next efforts on building products instead of offering services.

During the school year, I did some research projects in VOIP and data security with Bell Labs. Later on, I developed and maintained the VOIP department’s website and was also responsible for new enhancements and updates.

During my graduate studies, I worked as a Technical Research Assistant at the university lab. My job was to install software and maintain campus web servers, Windows 2000/NT servers, Windows 2000/NT workstations, and Citric thin clients. I also managed and improved the security of the wireless network within the campus.

I developed an e-commerce portal with a dynamic data interface, including online shopping features such as product detail generation, price matching according to the user, shopping cart, shipping calculation, credit card authorization, confirmation email, etc.

My first step in the entrepreneurial journey. We built a content platform providing entertainment to youth. We developed and launched the platform and started generating revenue through ads. ApniPathshala successfully reached Global Alexa of 430,000 within the initial six months and recorded good user engagement. However, the economic model wasn’t efficient and we ended up shutting it down.My primary responsibility was to research and develop the application, database architecture, and take care of content management.
