Project leader of small extension projects to the LeanMES system. Also responsible for functional specification, design and integration testing.

Pilot project to see if GE Proficy Plant Applications suite is integratable with their current system landscape.

The project created the Lean MES product which is setup as a scalable, reusable solution with a distributed plug-in MES framework to connect different types of shop floor systems. This allows GE Plastics to reuse this solution when implementing Oracle 11i on other Production Plants.

XPB is a PCI extension card for a specialized system of Philips Medical Cardio Vascular. XPB is part of the digital X-ray image processing unit of the Philips system. More specifically XPB processes the image stream with multiple very complex temporal algorithms (for comparison, previous solution designed by Philips consists of multiple computers which were not powerful enough). Prodrive developed the hardware and firmware for FPGA chips (with the implementation of the algorithms). Inside the project responsible for creating the driver and integration with Philips system.

Machine to Machine (M2M) communication is an important theme for the next few years. For example a coffee machine which is connected to a centralized system which monitors how many and which products are sold. LogicaCMG started a project to create a standardized service for customers.

Research for a standardized architecture and protocol set for embedded communication on a service oriented base. The focal point of the research was remote monitoring- and management applications. The result is a concept which describes architecture, design, protocol specifications together with a roadmap for the technology for the upcoming years. To demonstrate the practical applicability of this concept at this moment a proof of concept implementation is build which showed the practical applicability of a typical scenario for remote monitoring and management of embedded devices.

Started as graduation project (HIO) to develop a software tool to improve the Recycling process of disapproved material. After graduation extended the appliation to support more business processes and create custom reporting for the LEAN projects.

Started in training period for HIO. Worked in Industrial Automation project for RBV Leaf. Created LIMS system and track tracing reports. After training period assisted in project, system administration and developed several small systems for several industrial clients.

Their WARP software formed the basis for a number of office automation projects executed by Inzicht. The only problem was that the core software had a number of problems when not used in ‘basic’ mode and when applied in larger applications. Assisted in solving these.

Within a team of 3 system administrators a completely new network (switches, routers, and internet connections), Server Park and desktop rollout was designed and implemented in a period of 6 months. During this project a migration was executed from NT environment to a Windows 2000 Active directory domain.
