I spent my early years in IT working with The Legend Group in the Financial Services Industry designing and developing Business Applications to support the companies' proprietary critical business applications. Modeled and created DB2 database Tables and Views and developed and maintained RPGLE Applications to support the business. I managed a group of 5-7 IBM I Developers to support the IBM Systems and Software. I introduced and implemented SAP Crystal Reports throughout the organization to support Internal Departmental Reports and external Reports to Investors and Financial Advisors. The Legend Group was bought out by Lincoln Investment Planning LLC in 2017. Since 2017 to 2022 I served as Director of IBM Software Engineering with Lincoln Investment Planning LLC also in Financial Services much like my prior company The Legend Group. I Developed impactful Productivity Reports using SAP BI for Enterprise and SAP Crystal Reports to support High level Management and Advisors in the field. Created Universes using Information Design Tool to support data connectivity to critical data. Data sources included Enterprise Data Warehouse, Stored Procedures, SQL Servers and IBM DB2 Tables. Developed documentation for database definitions and table links to support all developers and Subject Matter Experts. Consulted with Network Administrators and .Net Developers to integrate APIs to access production SAP BI Reports and facilitate passing user parameters to these Reports. Configured SAP Report Scheduling in CMC for Report distribution to Individual Emails and Active Directory Groups. Report distribution to internal departments and external Office Branches. Provided SAP BusinessObjects training and support to business users and cross-functional teams.
