Selected to lead a new growth initiative for the services division. The GCS Aftermarket (AFM) business is a team of 20 people focused on the manufacture and sale of Teradyne’s out of production test systems, options, upgrades and leasing. Full P&L responsibility for $20M business. Lead the manufacturing operations, planning, master scheduling and sales support functions. Interface directly with the sales team world wide.

Integrated 3 functions into the Services Supply Chain, Material Planning, Logistics and Supplier Management functions.

Responsible for the management of service parts inventory in support of Teradyne’s installed base of over 10,000 semiconductor test systems. The team managed a $150M inventory pool distributed at country / regional stocking centers and 5 repair centers.

Total responsibility for the logistics management of Teradyne’s service parts inventory. The logistics network included 5 repair centers, 11 stocking centers and 15 customer dedicated stockrooms. Team consisted of 15 analyst, inventory control and stockroom personnel.

Managed the materials supply and logistics operations of a same day laptop repair center. Customers included Dell, NEC and Digital. Peak volume was 450 laptops per week supported by 20+ materials and logistics personnel.

Responsible for the life cycle service parts support of Personal Computer Commodity Business Unit (CBU). CBU was comprised of Purchasing, Supplier Management, Material Planning and Services Engineering.

Responsible for developing logistics support strategies for U.S. and worldwide customer accounts.

Led material planner/buyers team; responsible for ensuring level of service, inventory management and backorder management for Storage products
