Founded and directed an international technology & design consultancy with responsibility for overall operations, global P&L, client delivery and satisfaction, and business development. Oversaw several years of continuous growth with a CAGR of 36% over eight years. Offered services in business intelligence systems, mobile and application development for the healthcare and financial services industries. Provided technology guidance for 70+ new ventures. Managed consulting services including strategy, development and project management. Focused on quickly getting valuable insights from massive amounts of data through visualization.Built from the ground-up and navigated to a successful exit after reaching a peak of 50 employees in Poland and the US.

Directed several custom software development projects for national non-profit clients including a grant application management system, a medication monitoring system for skilled nursing facilities, and a business intelligence system for government benefit tracking. Involved directly in architecture, development, client management and responsible for integration and ultimate outcomes.

Created and grew a company focused on designing and implementing computer-based systems for boats and ships of all types. Worked closely with shipyards and owners to create custom systems for yachts, commercial vessels and naval ships. Clients included Oyster Yachts, Nautor Swan, US Navy, Bath Iron Works, Hodgdon Yachts, Hornbeck Offshore Services, and several local fishing fleets.Frequently spoke on satellite communication, weather forecasting, safety at sea and electronic navigation. Designed a 2-day curriculum on electronic navigation and delivered to offshore supply vessel and oil tanker captains. Wrote several articles published in Ocean Navigator, Professional Mariner, and Sail magazines. Lectured at Maine Maritime Academy, New York Yacht Club, and the Maritime Institute of Technology and Graduate Studies.Completed several offshore voyages including trips to Bermuda, Caribbean and a trans-Atlantic passage. Later moving to financial services to ultimately manage all aspects of the multi-million dollar technologies showcased in the Financial Ideas Exchange. Helped clients visualize leading technology ideas, understand emerging capabilities and prepare for change. Facilitated discussions with client CXOs from Fortune 100 firms and other visiting dignitaries, regarding the changing landscape of emerging technologies.
