Reporting to the CFO, responsible for delivery of the group consolidated financial statements for the Murphy group. Owner of the group consolidation process and integrity of the results. The Group's technical specialist for Accounting Standards and main point of contact for external stakeholders, banks, bond providers, key suppliers and asset finance providers. Responsible for ensuring adherence to the Group's accounting policies and to ensure correct and consistent application across the Group.Responsible for management of the group treasury function, ensuring appropriate governance and controls.

Responsible for preparing the VOG annual report and coordinate the group audit, deliver monthly performance reporting for the Board including analysis of consolidated group performance against prior year and budget as well as providing other key analysis as required.

Following the purchase of E.ON E&P UK by Premier Oil in April 2016 my employment was transferred to Premier Oil. I was part of the transition team, assisting Premier Oil with planning and budgeting for the newly acquired assets as well as providing cash flow and treasury forecasts.

I led the UK E&P Planning process of the MTP (medium term plan) and quarterly forecasts. This was a bottom-up 3 year plan which formed the budget for the following year. I also provided treasury monitoring and forecasting to the group. Prior to the sale of the business I was involved in a project to release "trapped cash" which involved a solvency declaration and working capital report.
