Designed Strahman Line blinds and Fabricated valves, from basic concept to detailed design. Performing stress analysis, ASME boiler code, and actuator calculations. Liaising with manufacturing, purchasing, sales, and scheduling departments. Chairing kick-off and design review meeting for each custom order.Providing technical support to the manufacturing, sales, purchasing, and quality departments.Designed and developed Strahmans new 740S standard line blinds. A product line ranging from 2” to 16”.Rated up to ASME 600. Built to comply with Asme B16.5 boiler code. Researched and developed a 6” line blind for cryogenic service. Capable of functioning with fluids of temperatures in the region of -300°f. To be used in a GE turbine test plant.Re-engineered Strahmans “Quik” sampling valve. Making a series of modifications to improve the functionality and manufacturing ability of the product. Significantly reducing the time to assemble.
