Having studied for 2 years and passed in a diploma with City and Guilds in Electrical Installation Level 2 and 3, now actively looking for professional skilled roles in field engineer work where I can make a real impact in the field of technology and customer service industry. I recently commenced my studies for the NVQ Level 3 Electrical Course alongside the 18th Edition and inspection and testing course, aspiring to acquire practical experience and essential qualifications towards achieving full certification as an electrician.Relatable skills and experience:Able to perform fault diagnosis and general electrical inspection of electrical circuits and installations.Wiring electric conductors to fixed appliances, electrical components and protective devices.Able to repair and install wiring to maintain electrical systems to a safe and high standard.Installing electrical conduits, cables and tubing correctly.Portable appliance testing equipments with multifunction test meters and approved voltage meters.Using and maintaining hand and power tools, such as screwdrivers, pliers and drills.Knowledge of health and safety standards and procedures to British Standard regulations.Strong knowledge of National Electric Code and local electric codes.Quality assurance skills such as checking physical conditions of wiring insulations, covers, cables.Projects and modules that I was involved in:Creating a full electrical installation from scratch, utilising key technical skills in electrical application such as creating 2 way light switch circuits, domestic circuit installation on wooden mount boards, crimping and wiring onto electrical appliances correctly.Perform fault diagnosis and full circuit inspection of a faulty installation during PAT testing to showcase key skills in making correct fault findings through written assessments on paper.Performed electrical risk assessments and method statements using advanced testing equipments and recording fault findings on circuit result log sheets. Several faulty domestic circuit installations were to be inspected and tested correctly during final assessment and examination.
