Managed Services Systems Administrator
CurrentAs the Managed Services Systems Administrator I function as the technical lead responsible for building, managing, and monitoring all installed hardware onsite with clients through the LogicMonitor platform, as well as assisting in growing the list of NOC/SOC tools and software in use by Netsync’s engineering and support staff. Through a demonstrated technical competency across numerous domains of knowledge I aid in delivering accurate and reliable system health metrics on mission critical infrastructure to ensure the highest levels of availability, performance, and security both in and out of house. Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:· Configure and manage all NOC and SOC tools and software· Ensure the highest level of systems and infrastructure availability and security· Recommend tools, software, systems or enhancements to deliver a feature rich NOC / SOC offerings· Recommend process improvements to drive efficiency· Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks and identify possible solutions· Maintain security, backup and redundancy strategies· Provide support for complex issues that require escalation, both internally and for clients· Liaison with vendors and other IT personnel for system or problem resolution
