With over 25 years of experience in fintech, development finance and edtech, David is a governance solutions expert who has founded and led four successful organizations that serve a wider purpose of promoting human flourishing. He is the founder and CEO of Integral: Governance Solutions, a company that explores and addresses the challenges and opportunities of governance in the context of early stage tech ventures, environmental, social, and governance (ESG) issues, and public private partnerships, especially around digital public infrastructure.David is also a co-founder and was the first chair of the board of Digital Frontiers, an edtech platform that supports professional capacity building around the world in pursuit of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). He holds a PhD in Economics from Yale University and has completed a Certified Professional Coach training approved by the International Coaching Federation. He has consulted to financial regulators and providers of digital financial services in many countries in Africa, Asia, and Latin America, and has authored multiple publications in his field of expertise. He is passionate about encouraging good governance, which requires more than good policies and structures, but also capable people who are equipped, supported, and held accountable in their roles.
