I am a biomedical imaging specialist aiming to advance neurovascular disease diagnostics and necessary imaging tools. My research and achievements stem from my interdisciplinary expertise overlapping engineering, physics, data science and physiology. I have PhD in cardiovascular physiology and two graduate degrees – one a combined BSc+MSc in physics, and the other is a Bachelor of Computer Science and IT. Physiology knowledge allows me to identify crucial biological questions, while physics and computer science allow finding unique solutions and developing methods to answer them. The main research lines I pursue are related to blood flow imaging and novel biomarkers it can provide to diagnose microcirculation abnormalities.
