Facilitated over 42,000 shipments of production material from international suppliers while maintaining on time performance of 97.3%. Currently providing immediate responses and solutions to disruptions in supply to 54 Caterpillar North American facilities. Identifying opportunities for lead time reduction through assessment of supplier shipping performance. Responding to facilities' ad hoc requests which vary from carrier performance to risk assessments of geographical and meteorlogical events. Optimizing contracted trade lanes to capture reduction in transportation costs while ensuring the constant and consistent supply of material to North American facilities.

Led cost reduction projects which focused on steel castings used on large construction equipment. Created consolidated data source that captured various aspects of the steel castings arena including quality, technical, and logistical requirements for a field of 80 individual castings. Identified low cost producer (LCP) for each key component family of castings. Developed and executed an LCP implementation strategy, that aligned with enterprise goals, which resulted $3.4m (27%) material cost reduction for 2016. Outsourced 187 burn to shape components that provided a resolution to a potential safety issue while capturing $759k (23%) in cost reduction for the large wheel loader product group. Initiated development of a secondary supplier for a critical component that will provide cost reduction of over $60k per machine produced, which NPV of $2.7m over the next two years of production.

Presented to multiple student groups about the different opportunities to study abroad through the Kelley School of Business. Provided support to the administrative staff in preparing travel documents and procuring visas for more than 700 students. Pulled and compiled data that detailed the participation trends for all international programs over the past 5 years.

Investigating current practices for travel expense allocation for consultants. Developing a recommendation for a standardized enterprise wide policy that creates cost reduction and formalprocedure for reporting and approving consultant travel expenses.Assisting category managers in achieving $1.7B in annual catalog spend through identification of suppliers to catalog.

Created quote comparisons for materials required in the manufacturing of barges. Placed purchase orders daily to ensure the availability of raw materials and proper tooling for production. Worked with the receiving office and quality manager to confirm both quantity and quality of recieved products. Communicated with various sales representatives to manage accounts and investigate new product offerings.

Picked, and loaded delivery trucks with items that were stored at the Guys and Dollies Storage and Shipping warehouse. The prodcedure included cross-referencing the picked items with invoices for specific delivery trucks. As a special deliverer, I delivered single items that were omitted on first deliveries to customers' residences.
