AAAS Platinum Member I've been a UX professional for almost a decade, and along the way, I realized there was so much more to explore than the digital landscape. I wanted to venture beyond digital marketing and into the exciting world where physical and digital experiences blend. So, I decided to get my master's degree in UX Design from MICA. It wasn't just about growing as a UX professional but how physical products can properly mesh with digital ones. Now, I love creating experiences that dance between the physical and digital worlds.I gained valuable hands-on experience working with startups and agencies earlier in my career. Each role presented unique challenges contributing to a richer understanding of the UX landscape. I eventually grew in to starting my own UX agency which grew to over 20 clients before being bought out.Currently, I serve as the Lead UX Strategist at the Vanguard Group. In this role, I manage and lead a team of developers and designers through projects that shape our global public site tools experience. As someone who is color-deficient, one primary focus is optimizing accessibility and usability, ensuring we provide our users with the best experiences.To accomplish this, I leverage a suite of tools, including Figma, Maze, Jira, and Scrum. These resources allow me to create platforms that are not just user-friendly but also intuitive and engaging.I am a seasoned UX professional who has strategically transitioned into leadership roles focusing on shaping experiences, leading teams, and influencing the larger UX landscape.
