Growing up in India and then moving around the world for my academic and career development over the years makes my background rich with diverse and multi-cultural experiences. Leaving India in 2002 to start the International Baccalaureate program in England, for which I was given a full scholarship based on what I had achieved in India, was the start of my international career endeavors. Here, living under the same roof with other students from various countries exposed me to different cultures and ways of life, which I came to love, respect and value. As the next steps, I received my bachelor’s degree in Physics from Jacobs University Bremen and went on to pursue a Master’s program in Engineering Physics from TU München. My inner drive to understand the mysteries of natural sciences did not stop there. I started my doctoral studies in RWTH University on the topic related to using the nano-technology to improve the photo-voltaic solar-cell efficiency. Currently, I am in the process of finishing my doctoral thesis. As a physics student, I have gained various practical experience and skills by leading and assisting different research projects parallel to my studies. I am used to work hard, I enjoy problem solving and I am every enthusiastic about learning more and applying my accumulated knowledge. Perhaps most importantly, I have a very curious and interactive nature, making me eager to think across boarders. As a new chapter in my career development, I am actively exploring full-time job positions.
