Prof. A. S. Ansari is the well-recognized and eminent scientist in the field of contraception/fertility regulation. His outstanding research has resulted in significant contribution towards development of an ideal male contraceptive. He is involved in the Phase III Human clinical trials employing RISUG- A new perspective in non–hormonal male contraception at Jaipur Centre. Also, currently, his research is focused in developing dual contraceptive which could be applicable for both sexes with RISUG. His excellence in translational and reverse translational research is evident from the list of publication in esteemed journals. His contribution in Reproductive contraception management has been recognized by Indian Society for the Study of Reproduction and Fertility (ISSRF) which awarded him with Labhsetwar Award, USA Foundation and Prof. N. R. Moudgal Oration award.
