By tapping into both Above the Line (ATL) and Below the Line (BTL) advertising, our tools and techniques are targeted to specific audiences and for specific purposes—creating a powerful impact for our client’s advertising campaign.As the appointed consultant for Sumur Mutiara, I was tasked with ensuring that the new integrated advertising campaign was in line with the existing "Malaysia Truly Asia" and "Cuti-Cuti 1Malaysia" campaigns. The campaign was driven around the story of proximity in Malaysia where sights, shopping and shows are merely "Dekat Je," loosely translated as "close by." The catchphrase was also used as a way to express the proposition of the campaign where travel brings people closer together. My role primarily includes monitoring the effectiveness of each media buy campaign and enhancing Malaysia as the top-of-mind tourist destination for international and domestic markets.
