I am the managing partner of AK47™, a learning and development consultancy with a presence in Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. I have 17 years of experience managing marketing budgets totalling more than $5 million for AK47™ clients, including FELDA Global Venture (FGV), Halal Development Corporation (HDC), Bentley Music, Greenland Malaysia (a global Fortune 500 company), CapitaMalls Malaysia Trust, the Ministry of Tourism and Culture, Panasonic Malaysia, Boustead Holdings, and the Lejadi Group of Companies.I hold a Doctor of Business Administration from Universidad Azteca, majoring in marketing. My doctoral research interests, focused on social media marketing, consumer behaviour models, and leadership transformation, offer practical insights that can be directly applied to the corporate training world.Additionally, I earned my MBA in marketing from Malaysia's prestigious Putra Business School, ranked among the top three graduate schools in the SEA region. My MBA education provides me with a deep understanding of marketing strategies, consumer behaviour, communications, critical thinking, and leadership principles. I also hold degrees in marketing and multimedia from Malaysia's Universiti Tenaga Nasional and Multimedia University.My involvement in high-stakes marketing campaigns, such as the "Dekat Je" KL Tourism Master Plan as the senior account director, demonstrates my ability to translate marketing concepts and leadership principles into training methodologies. This campaign theme not only highlights my marketing acumen but also showcases my innovative thinking, which can be applied to foster creativity and excellence in corporate training initiatives.I am a founding member of the Business Network International (BNI) Elevate Chapter in Malaysia's Kuala Lumpur City Centre region and served as its President for three consecutive terms. I went above and beyond to strengthen the BNI business community by sponsoring over 26 business professionals. As a result, BNI Malaysia has recognised me as a Quadruple Diamond Gold Club Member, as well as the Master Connector, "Restart the World 3+1," and "BNI 300" recognitions.
