My name is Abdul Baseer. By profession, I am a pharmacist having academic qualifications: B.Pharm, M.Pharm and PhD. I have earned my PhD from Saarland University, Germany in the subject pharmaceutics and pharmaceutical technology in 2020. The funding agency of my doctoral research work was DAAD (Germany) /HEC, Pakistan. I have a total of 15 years of professional experience in pharmaceutical industry as well as in academia. My research domain is pharmaceutics and pharmaceutical technology with a major focus on pharmaceutical nanotechnology. Prior to completing my doctorate qualification (PhD), I have working experience of 10 years in the pharmaceutical industry as well as in academia. I have five years production/manufacturing experience in both national and multinational pharmaceutical organizations such as Ali Gohar Pharmaceuticals (AGP), Karachi, Pakistan, Atco Laboratories, Karachi Pakistan, Abbott laboratories and Pfizer laboratories, Pakistan. Besides, I have served academia for five years as a lecturer. I completed my master degree (M.Pharm) in the subject of Pharmaceutics. As a lecturer, I have taught various subjects like Pharmaceutical Technology, Industrial Pharmacy, Pharmaceutics, Quality Management and Medicinal Chemistry. I have also been involved in accreditation and affiliation of pharmacy school with the respective professional council in Pakistan.My research interests include Designing Nanomedicines, Characterization and application of nanotechnology in the health care system.
