Dr. Ajit Kumar is an Associate Professor of Information Systems at the Xavier Institute of Management, XIM University, India. He obtained a PhD. from Taipei Medical University, Taiwan, and completed his Postdoctoral Fellowship from the National Central University, Taiwan. He has been involved in teaching, research, and software industries for almost 16 years, across four countries – Taiwan, Libya, India, Nigeria. He has worked with sophisticated healthcare information and communication technology that includes legacy mainframe to cloud computing. He is interested in learning, teaching, and researching in areas, such as Information systems, health care, and human-computer interaction. He teaches courses like Digital Transformation Strategy, Digital Transformation of Business, Innovation and Digital Transformation Business Transformation using Artificial Intelligence, and Design Thinking for Managers. He has published twenty papers in peer-reviewed journals and presented twenty-five conference papers in various national and international conferences. His research publications have appeared in journals such as Journal of Biomedical Informatics, International Journal of Medical Informatics, IEEE Transactions on Fuzzy Systems, and Vilakshan - XIM Journal of Management.
