Dr. Ali received his Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree in 2009 from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto, Ontario and had also received certification in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture from McMaster University. In 2003, Dr. Ali received his Honours Bachelor of Science degree from McMaster University in the Biology/Life Sciences Program. In addition to his chiropractic and acupuncture training, Dr. Ali continues to update his knowledge and skills by attending specialized soft tissue and adjusting technique seminars. Dr. Ali is an active member of the Canadian Chiropractic Association, Ontario Chiropractic Association and the Canadian Chiropractic Protective Association.Through in-depth chiropractic training along with vast knowledge of anatomy and biomechanics of the human body, Dr. Ali treats a variety of musculoskeletal disorders both acute and chronic. Dr. Ali specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of conditions relating to the skeletal, muscular and nervous systems with the main goal of finding and treating the source of pain and dysfunction, promote healing, prevent further recurrence of pain and dysfunction, as well as monitoring progress with proper maintenance care. Dr. Ali firmly believes in treating the source of the problem versus just the symptoms alone in order to help his patients, either through spinal or extremity adjustments, soft tissue therapy, electro-modalities, acupuncture, orthotics, exercise prescription, lifestyle and nutritional advice. Dr. Ali believes that education, health promotion and proper communication are also vitally important to proper patient care and that when patients can thoroughly understand the nature of why their pain and dysfunction is occurring; it helps them to see better how certain changes need to be made to correct the problem at hand.
