As Part Time Lecturer I conducted lectures in the Faculty of Social Science within the Department of Business and Management Studies at both the main Campus at Turkeyen and the Tain Campus in Berbice.

As Financial Specialist I am responsible for the establishment and maintenance of an accounting and internal control system for the financial administration of projects managed by the PIU, that is in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles, government accounting rules and regulations and IDB policies and procedures (as applicable). In addition In collaboration with the Programme Manager of the PIU I have a key responsibility for the financial administration of projects managed by the PIU. Administration, reporting and reconciliation of Government and IDB funds managed by the PIU. Maintenance of adequate files and records for the financial administration of the resources of projects.

As Manager I assisted the medical director with administrative functions and ensured proper planning, implementing, developing, formulating and co-ordinating of National Health policies and programmes through the provision of Regional Health Management system.Key outputs are well planned and formulated Regional Health Care Policies/ Programmes and equitably distributed manpower and material resources through the regions.

As coordinator I was successful in pioneering four social projects across Guyana and one in Suriname offering technical and vocational training for members in the communities in Literacy, Computer Science etc and promoting capacity building.

As Project Officer, I was able to ensure that project budgets were prepared in a timely manner, Facilitate the preparation and maintenance of accounting records and the allocation of finance to meet needs in communities and the project.

As Auditor I assisted in the preparation and execution of audit plans and programmes, preparation of progress reports, examination of financial statements to ascertain relevant disclosures are in compliance with approved standards for all government agencies and donor funded projects such as the Inter-American Development Bank.
