Here's a brief overview of my background:With over 35 years of combined military and federal government service, I retired as a U.S. Army Combat Veteran, achieving the prestigious rank of Command Sergeant Major—a distinction held by less than 2 percent of the U.S. Army. This accomplishment underscores my unwavering commitment, resilience, and leadership prowess.As a transformational leader, I inspire individuals and organizations to unleash their potential. I firmly believe that leaders shape the energy within an organization, holding the power to transform lives, build teams, and drive mission success.In my post-military career, I've leveraged my leadership skills across diverse roles, including Director of Management and Human Capital Director within the federal government, adjunct professor teaching doctoral-level leadership courses, certified professional life coach and career coach, and dedicated advocate for diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA), with a focus on supporting women and other underrepresented communities.Throughout my journey, I've demonstrated exceptional leadership, managing administrative operations, people, and multimillion-dollar budgets, while also embracing collaboration and teamwork as essential components of success.As a speaker, I inspire audiences to recognize their value in mission success and unlock their talents. As an author, I've written two books motivating women and girls to reach their potential.My Doctoral Degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Liberty University reflects my passion for leadership and my commitment to understanding the dynamics of women in predominantly male-dominated environments.My military service earned me prestigious honors such as the Legion of Merit and the Bronze Star, and I had the privilege of representing the U.S. Army before Congress on Gender Integrated Training issues. Additionally, I was honored to be featured as one of Ebony Magazine's “10 Many Splendor Faces of Today's Black Woman” in 1997.Today, I am excited to share my passion and expertise through teaching, coaching, mentoring, training, and speaking engagements, rooted in my faith and applicable across all industries.
