About me25 years experience in executive and board director roles across all levels of government and NfP sector in Australia and UK. Including NHS England, and the Australian Commonwealth, State and Local Government. This developed my resilience, skills and love for digital transformation, data driven performance, and system reform, particularly in safety, quality and population healthcare systems. During this time I also gained invaluable experience in planning and design for the UK Government's introduction of 'open government', single government digital services portal and co-locating services in community and multi-agency service hubs. More recently I led the team who developed a novel population health management and risk stratification e-decision support software platform for primary care in Australia. This has now been successfully scaled at a national level and covers nearly half the Australian population, providing valuable insights across the health system and to front line clinicians. I've had great development opportunities to lead cutting edge work at state and national levels working as an executive in the highly regulated quality and safety standards areas of Australia's healthcare and aviation sectors. I was an inaugural non-executive board director member of Gold Coast Primary Care for five years, and the only female Senior Executive in CASA for nearly 2 years. I believe in servant leadership and that supporting those that support our communities and make them safer is a key element to ensuring a safe, healthy and prosperous community for us all now and into the future. I'm a wicked problem junkie that loves governance, policy, business and system improvement, change management and sustainable service development in our complex modern world. More recently I have been developing my cyber security and big data analytics skills as part of my ongoing commitment to lifelong learning and research and to ensure I can stay abreast of our developing challenges. Humans remain the greatest challenge to safety and quality whether in healthcare, aviation or any other sector, that's why research, systems development and organisational learning is key.
