As an Associate Professor of Instruction in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology at Ohio University (OU), I teach three courses per semester at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. I primarily teach criminology courses from a sociological perspective, but I also teach an undergraduate course focusing on career development and a graduate course on teaching in higher education (all course titles listed below). In addition to teaching, I am a career advisor to criminology, sociology, and sociology pre-law students at OU. * Taught three courses per semester (Introduction to Criminal Justice, Corrections in America, Special Offender Types, Alternatives to Incarceration, Ethics in Criminal Justice, the Death Penalty in America, Media and Crime);* Advised up to fifty students per semester;* Engaged in service to the department, college, and university;* Conducted, presented, and published criminological research, particularly that pertaining to death penalty issues

* Taught two to three sections per semester of Survey of Corrections and Contemporary Issues in Criminology
