About Dr. Amit Kumar Dwivedi🇮🇳

Dr. Dwivedi serves at the Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII-Ahmedabad) as a Professor and Director of Department of Government Projects. He earned a doctoral degree (Ph. D.) in Industrial Finance (2004-07) from the University of Lucknow. He worked at Amity University Rajasthan and the Indian Institute of Management-Ahmedabad (IIM-A) earlier. At EDII, he is looking after the first of its Doctoral Level Programme (Fellowship Programme in Management) in Entrepreneurship since 2014. In a career of about 19 years, Dr. Dwivedi could contribute a textbook, some reference books and edited book volumes - in the associated areas of Entrepreneurship. He published research papers (23 in Scopus, including 12 in the ABDC category) in some leading journals (Int. Entrepreneurship and Management Journal–IEMJ, Vikalpa, Int. Journal of Operational Research–IJOR, Int. Journal of Procurement Management–IJPM, The Journal of Entrepreneurship (JoE), Int. Journal of Entrepreneurship and Small Business–IJESB, Int. Journal of Business, Innovation and Research–IJBIR, Int. Journal of Business Continuity and Risk Management–IJBCRM, Journal of Global Entrepreneurship Research–JGER, etc.); book chapters in edited book volumes and conference proceedings, including Academy of Management (AOM) Global Proceedings (2018). He guided 5 Doctoral and 2 M. Phil dissertations, and currently, 3 Doctoral scholars are pursuing their dissertations with him.Dr. Dwivedi co-authored 9 GEM India National Reports from 2014 to 2023 as one of the national team members of the ‘Global Entrepreneurship Monitor India Team’. He contributed to preparing ‘The AICTE Start-up Policy-2016’ on behalf of the EDII. Also, Dr Dwivedi contributed two chapters in ‘Recommendations to National MSME Policy-2017’ on behalf of EDII and One-Man Committee Chaired by Shri Prabhat Kumar (Former Governor Jharkhand and Ex-Cabinet Secretary), Govt. of India. The Honorable Governor of Uttar-Pradesh awarded him in 2015 for contributing to entrepreneurship development initiatives.
