Dr Amit Kumar Singh is Professor, Dean and Head at Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University (A central university) Lucknow and Former Head Department of Management Mizoram University Aizawl. He has 21 years of teaching experience at PG level and guiding Ph.D & M.Phil students in the field of Business Management. He has published/presented more than 100 research paper in Journals/edited volumes/seminars and delivered lectures in UGC refresher courses and different MDPs and written 4 books . He had also served as Head i/c Department of Management, Mizoram University from 31st May 2007 to 15th May 2008 and framed Rules, Regulations and syllabus for MBA Programme for Mizoram University. Dr Singh was also Member of Academic Council Mizoram University as Head i/c deptt. of Management (May 2007-May 2008), member of steering committee for Management department(2007), Member of School Board for School of Economics, Commerce, Library Information Science and Management, Mizoram University (2007-2009), Member BOS in Commerce, Mizoram University(2007-2010),Member BOS in Economics, Mizoram University(2007-2010), Member BOS Library & Information Science Mizoram University(2007-2010) Member BOS in Management (2008-2011). He is also in editorial board of 11 International Journal .He was also Finance Secretary Mizoram University Teachers Association(2012-14) and Vice President Mizoram University Teachers Association (2014-2018). He was Japan International Cooperation agency agency consultant to Forest Department Government of Mizoram (2012-2015) He completed his education from BHU Varanasi, VBSPU Jaunpur and IIM Ahmedabad
