About Dr. Amrita Mitra

Specialising in structural characterization of various proteins using mass spectrometry, I have completed Ph.D. in Clinical Proteomics working on proteomic characterization of prostate cancer using imaging mass spectrometry and tissue proteomics. I have amassed over 10 years of experience during Ph.D. in understanding protein structures, protein interactions and protein expressions using the various applications of mass spectrometry including LC-MS based proteomics, HDX-MS, Ion-Mobility MS, Native MS and Imaging MS. I am passionate about translating my scientific and analytical skills to achieve R&D based project or organizational targets efficiently.Having completed Ph.D., I am working as a Research Associate at CCAMP, Bangalore where I have developed expertise in Biosimilarity Assessment of innovators and test samples using mass spectrometry and other biophysical techniques such as CD, SEC MALS and FTIR. I am adept with handling multiple projects at a time and have been trained in personnel management to achieve targets through teamwork.I am looking for an opportunity in the R&D sector of biotech/biopharma industries to employ my research experiences towards the requirements of the industry.
