Hello, I am a first generation, highly motivated and enthusiastic doctor, with extensive experience in cardiology, having worked in both FY2, CT/ST1 positions, steadily building my career through dedication and hardwork. My consultants often call me "Dr. Calm", owing to my calm demeanour, patience and the way in which I approach communication with patients, especially during challenging times. Many patients have acknowledged me for being a good listener. What distinguishes me is my discipline, openness to learn, honesty, adaptability and good hand eye coordination skills, which I have gradually developed by playing cricket and piano. I firmly believe that, one does not become a leader because of the title but because of one's actions. My leadership skills are evidenced by leading teams during the COVID crisis, motivating junior staff, and forming effective working relationships with multidisciplinary teams. As a physician, everyday I begin with a prayer hoping that my healing hands will make a difference in someone's life.
