Surgical experience gained:1.Have assisted a plethora of surgeries of various fields of medicine such as general surgery, neurosurgery, ENT, orthopedics and plastic surgery which has given me a clear insight into the advantages of a multidisciplinary team approach.2.Have done a wide array of surgeries such as cancers of the oral and maxillofacial region, maxillofacial trauma and pathology.3.Have confidently and independently performed minor surgical procedures such as impactions, space infections, enucleations of minor cysts, aesthetic suturing of soft tissue injuries and treatment of maxillofacial fractures such as symphysis, parasymphysis and body fractures.4.Have gained valuable experience in emergency trauma management.5.During fellowship period I have been trained in diagnosis and treatment planning of head and neck cancer patients, management of these patients in out- patient and in-patient basis. I have presented cases in weekly tumor board discussion and was part of these discussions. I have independently performed all minor procedures. (Biopsy, DL scopy, Lymph node excisions, skin grafting,Tracheostomy, Feeding jejunostomy)6.Have also performed all types of neck dissections and primary tumor resectionsindependently.7.Have gained experience in different reconstructive surgeries including local,regional and microvascular flaps.
