In 2006, I moved towards a career in health, studying and working as a Registered Nurse. My move to the Northern Territory was driven by a deep desire to work with Indigenous Australian people in remote areas of Central Australia. I learnt so much and immersed myself in multiple Indigenous Australian cultures throughout the NT. In 2012, I commenced medical school in Darwin, NT. I am currently enjoying my role as a paediatric medical trainee at Womens & Childrens Hospital and look forward to the future serving my patients and community. My career experience has been diverse and included piano performing & teaching, retail, hospitality and youth work.
