Dr Arun Bhaskar is the President of the British Pain Society, and NHS Consultant at Imperial College Healthcare Trust. Dr Bhaskar has also held international positions as a leader in the pain sector, such as Chairman of UK Section at the World Institute of Pain and member of the European Pain Federation Task Force on Cancer Pain Management. Dr Bhaskar advises NICE on guidelines such as interventional procedures and cancer pain. He is currently building innovative pain services and solutions at Leva Clinic. Dr Bhaskar has special interests in complex pain, including neuropathic pain, cancer pain, visceral and pelvic pain, pain interventions and neuromodulation.
