I am involved in basic research as well as clinical research. This institute is one of the largest cancer treating institute has helped many of my goals to be fulfilled.I have been associated in development of novel drugs against arsenic induced toxicity. Discovered more than 23 best antidotes against the same and is in the process of patent. I am also associated with the Cancer epidemiology and development of new diagnostic tumour markers. One marker is at final stage.Presently, engaged in Gall bladder cancer epidemiological study of Bihar of 20 years.I am principal investigator in one of my DST Project, Government of India and supervising 7 Ph.D students. 1 JRF and 2 Project assistants are my right hand in my project. Published 89 international research articles in peer viewed journals. I am also reviewer in 16 international journals.Presently, Co- Investigator in International DST- UKIERI project. The research project has started from 01st April 2017.Presently working on Arsenic mitigation. And of course with Arsenic Man of Bihar, India Professor Ashok K. Ghosh.As a P.I, recieved major project grant from Indian Council of Medical Research, Govt. of India for 3 years. The project has started from 20th August 2021.Recently published 02 articles in Nature Journal - Scientific Reports in 2020-2021.Published articles in Journal with total Impact Factor of 30 in last 18 months.Presently, also working with Professor David Polya, University of Manchester on association between Arsenic and Gall bladder incidences in Gangetic belt of India.Working with Dr. Maiko Sakamoto, Tokyo University, Chiba, Japan on Arsenic and mitigation strategies in Bihar, India.Working with Dr. Pascal Salaun, Assistant Professor, University of Liverpool, U.K. on Assessment of arsenic contamination in groundwater and Public Health in Samastipur district of Bihar.Would prefer to teach UG, PG and Ph.D students in the field of Life Sciences/ Zoology/ Animal Sciences.
