As the Director of the CDOE department at Vivekananda Global University (VGU), Jaipur, a NAAC A+ accredited institution, I lead a dynamic team of intellectuals, guiding and mentoring them to achieve academic excellence in online and distance education.Prior to my tenure at VGU, I served as the Program Coordinator of the MBA Program (Online Learning) at Chandigarh University, another NAAC A+ accredited institution. There, I also headed the Centre for Internal Quality Assurance (CIQA) within the Institute of Distance and Online Learning. I was the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for all educational and academic partners, ensuring the successful execution and implementation of online and open learning programs in accordance with UGC-Deb2020 guidelines.Before joining Chandigarh University, I was an Assistant Professor and Program Coordinator for the BBA program at GLA University, Mathura, in their Centre for Distance and Online Education. I also served as a course instructor for MBA and B.Com (Hons) programs. My specialization lies in creating setups and environments for online education and blended learning.Earlier in my career, I worked as an Assistant Professor and Head of the BBA Department at The Study Hall College, an associated college of the University of Lucknow. In addition to my academic roles, I was actively involved in accounting, procurement, marketing, and public relations activities.I began my professional journey with the JP Group, where I spent six years working on their Thermal Power Project (3300 MW) in Allahabad, India, as an Assistant Officer in Stores & Purchase. I also have experience working with the UP Sugar Mills Cogen Association as an Office & Accounts Associate.Academically, I hold a PhD, UGC NET certification, an MBA in Finance and Marketing from Uttar Pradesh Technical University, a PG Diploma in Supply Chain Management from MGU, and an Advanced Diploma in Micro Finance. I have extensive expertise in teaching and providing practical exposure to students in subjects like Accounting & Financial Management, Direct & Indirect Taxes, Cost & Inventory Management, Entrepreneurship, Insurance Laws, General and Marketing Management.My diverse experience across industry and academia has equipped me with a deep understanding of accounts & finance, budget control, stores and inventory management, office administration, marketing management, entrepreneurship development, and the analysis and design of short-term online/hybrid certification programs apart of managing and running UGC entitled/approved full time degree programmes.
