I am a dedicated healthcare professional with a strong academic foundation, having graduated from Dow Medical College, Karachi in 1997 and achieving FCPS in Nephrology in 2005. Joining The Indus Hospital (TIH) in August 2007 as part of the founding faculty, I played a pivotal role in establishing the country's first paperless hospital at TIH Korangi Campus, initially with 150 beds, delivering high-quality healthcare completely free of cost. Over the past decade, the services have expanded to more than ten campuses nationwide, leading to the transformation of TIH into Indus Hospital & Health Network (IHHN). The Karachi Campus, where I currently serve, has expanded to over 300 beds, with ongoing development plans to reach 1300 beds in the near future.My expertise extends to establishing comprehensive nephrology services and pioneering post-graduate medical education at IHHN, alongside spearheading health informatics initiatives and master planning a new hospital in collaboration with international and local architects. Appointed as Associate Medical Director in 2014, I founded the Quality Improvement and Patient Safety Department, fostering a culture of excellence across clinical and administrative departments. Promoted to Medical Director, IHHN Karachi in 2017, I have strengthened infrastructure, streamlined processes, and implemented robust governance measures to ensure superior monitoring and operational efficiency.To complement my management and leadership skills, I have pursued advanced education in healthcare management, earning an Executive MBA in Healthcare Management & Leadership from a prestigious European university and a Postgraduate Advanced Diploma from Cambridge International Qualifications (CIQ), UK. I am also a Certified Healthcare Management Professional accredited by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), UK.
