-Coordinating with Government of India and Norway for various innovations planned under Norway India Partnership Initiative, -Supporting approval of work-plans and budgets of NIPI partners, -Conduction of review of implementation by the NIPI governing bodies, -Coordinating the NIPI partners work, ensuring periodic progress reviews, -Documentation and Knowledge sharing of NIPI innovations -Sustainability strategy for NIPI-Coordinating Norway - India institutional collaborations.

• Provide technical advisory services to the Embassy in connection with Norway India Partnership Initiative (NIPI) with regards Grant management of the 750 million NOK program between Government of India and Norway in NIPI.• Provide technical advice and approvals of proposals selected for funding through various agencies including UNDP, Jhpiego and Public Health Foundation of India.• Provide briefing information, operational feedback, recommendations and policy advice to the Embassy.• Represent the Norwegian Embassy in the development partner’s forum, Reproductive and CH forums/NRHM review missions and other relevant and technical fora.• Provide technical inputs on the execution of activities by various implementing agencies through field visits and meetings.• Provide technical inputs for the Monitoring and Evaluation activities for interventions and Operation research supported under NIPI.• Participate in the Program Management Group and Joint Steering Committee Meetings under the Chair of Secretary Health and Co Chairpersonship of Ambassador of Norway to India and provide need based advice to the Embassy on health issue.• To assist the Counsellor and Head of Health section in management of all activities related to NIPI, PTA and health related development portfolio.
