Dr. Ashish Sachdeva qualified as a physician from Nagpur University in India (1988).After finishing his internship and residency in New Delhi he moved to the Republic of South Africa in 1990. This was a very interesting and fulfilling experience in South Africa from 1990 to 1995 .It included Trauma medicine and Emergency medicine .He moved to the USA in 1995 and did his internship and residency at Saint Joseph hospital Chicago an affiliate of North Western University, Chicago from 1996 to 1999. A year of chief residency at Saint Joseph hospital as well as clinical instructor of medicine at Northwestern University followed. In year 2001 Dr. Sachdeva moved to Indianapolis Indiana and completed a one-year fellowship in Geriatric medicine. He also had the experience of working as a clinical instructor of medicine at IUPUI Indianapolis that year. What followed was a five-year stint in Louisville, Kentucky where Dr. Sachdeva practiced in the rural areas in the capacity of a primary care doctor and then as an emergency room doctor. In 2006 he decided to move to Phoenix to be close to family and has practiced in the Sun City, Peoria area since then. His wife is a partner in both his personal and professional life. He has held many an administrative post in the last ten years including being the Chief medical officer, Acuity long-term care hospitals and SNF, Medical director of Restora long-term acute care hospital and SNF Medical director of Trillium long-term acute care hospital and SNF Medical director of Hospice of Arizona, Medical director of Prime care Hospice, Medical director of Hospice of West, Medical director of Emblem Hospice.Medical director of Desert Winds assisted living for the last 10 years.Medical director for Geriatric services at Abrazo arrowhead hospitalHe enjoys teaching fellows, medical students, nurse practitioner students, medical assistant students. He gives regular lectures at various community places like churches, assisted livings. He has three children that he dotes on, and Enjoys Travel, singing, writing, and reading in his spare time.
