I'm a therapist and coach who is on a mission to bridge the gap between cutting-edge scientific inquiry and real-world transformation. With a Ph.D. in neuroplasticity, I'm driven by an insatiable curiosity to understand how our brains work, how our minds develop, and how we can unlock our full potential through innovative modalities. My journey has been one of personal growth and healing, having spent 20 years personally dealing with developmental trauma, cPTSD, anxiety, depression, perfectionism, people pleasing, and ADHD. After a significant crash, I got serious about applying my knowledge of the brain and human behavior to break free of the relentless impacts of these struggles personally and professionally. These experiences fuel my empathy and drive to help others navigate their own journeys towards wellness and empowerment.As the CEO and founder of the Re-MIND Institute, I've channeled my expertise into a holistic approach that combines neuroscience, spirituality, and nervous system healing. Through our programs, we empower individuals and organizations to rewrite their narratives, transform stress responses, improve mental health, create psychologically safe environments, and foster genuine connections based on safety, not survival.I'm dedicated to creating ripple effects of positive change, whether it's within workplace cultures, educational settings, or personal lives. This project is being delivered in Indonesia, Cambodia and Timor-Leste. It trains and supports in-country trainers and therapy practitioners (community health workers) to help people with lower leg amputation using the pressure casting socket system (PCAST), supporting people with painful and disabling musculoskeletal conditions using Biomechanical Therapy, and helping with mental health concerns associated with these conditions.My role has been to lead the content development teams in the curation of the digital learning resources for each of the learning modules, as well as prepare a "Train the trainers" module in a trauma-informed way that met the needs of culturally diverse trainers across each of our locations. -
