As of Jan 2023, I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering at Dr B R Ambedkar NIT Jalandhar, Punjab, India. Earlier, I worked as an Assistant Professor (Grade-I) in IIITDM Kancheepuram, BITS Pilani, India [Pilani & Hyd. campus] . I am a recipient of the Marie-Curie Post-Doctoral fellowship at Aalborg University, Denmark. I was the visiting research scientist at KU-Leuven, Belgium, at the University of Oldenburg, Germany, Univ. of Kragujevac Serbia, KMITL Thailand, and Samsung Electronics. I also work in collaboration with the Signal Processing Lab at Concordia University, Canada and Aalborg University, Denmark. My research field includes the areas of advanced digital signal processing, adaptive filters, acoustics, machine learning, speech processing, hearing-aid system designs, and communication systems. I am the Associate Editor of EURASIP JASM and Circuit Systems and Signal Processing, Springer. Along with that, I am involved in many scholarly services such as guest editing special issues and reviewing research papers for international peer-reviewed journals and conferences. I am a Senior Member of IEEE. Presently I am leading a team of researchers in acoustics, audio signal processing, speech processing, and machine learning.
