• During my work at the above-mentioned post, I was occupied with the dossier preparation of new pharmaceutical products (Module 2-Common Technical Document Summaries: 2.2-Introduction, 2.3-Quality Overview Summary, Module 3-Quality) and I participated in the scientific correspondence (due diligence reports, deficiency letters) between the pharmaceutical industry and foreign collaborating pharmaceutical industries.• Communication with manufacturers and suppliers of active substances, excipients and packaging materials. Supply coordination and scientific evaluation of the relevant regulatory documentation.• Elemental Impurities Risk Assessments• Preparation, evaluation and update of the Standard Operating Procedures of the Product Development Department• Nitrosamine Impurities Risk Assessments• Leachables/Extractables Risk Assessments• Active Substance Master Files Gap Analyses• Risk Assessments for the presence of Class 1 residual solvents• Project Management• Investigation/justification studies of out of specifications/out of trend, 4M analysis• Risk Assessments for the flavoring agents’ safety• Studies for justification of active substances’ specifications• Coordination of the bioequivalence studies, scientific evaluation of bioequivalence protocols and all the relevant documentation• Risk Assessments for the active substances’ toxicityTotally, I was involved with 83 research projects.

During my work at the above-mentioned post, I participated in the research and development of new pharmaceutical products. Moreover, I was occupied with the dossier preparation (Module 3-Quality: 3.2.P.1-Description and Composition of the Drug Product, 3.2.P.2-Pharmaceutical Development, 3.2.P.3-Manufacture), compositions of new food supplements and I participated in the scientific correspondence (deficiency letters) between the pharmaceutical industry and Regulatory Agencies (Greek and foreign).Totally, I was involved with 24 research projects.

1. During my MSc and PhD studies, as a teaching assistant, I was involved with the teaching of 1st and 3rd year BSc students in the Introduction to Pharmaceutical Chemistry Practical Sessions and Active Drug Substance Synthesis Practical Sessions respectively.2. During my MSc and PhD studies, I was involved with the supervising of 5th year BSc and MSc students to perform their experimental work and write their Thesis.

Part time work

I served as a Pharmacist in Pharmaceutical Laboratories of Greek Army (Quality Control). I was involved with the qualitative-quantitative analysis and stability controls of intermediate, semifinal and final pharmaceutical products (tablets, capsules, creams, ointments, syrups, solutions, powders), according to the Greek Pharmacopoeia analytical methods. Specifically, I was occupied with volumetric and potentiometric titrations, Infrared spectra (IR), Ultraviolet-Visible absorption (UV-Vis), density, pH and refraction index measurements, melting points, dissolution studies, High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), identification reactions and purity controls. Moreover, I was involved with the quality control of active drug substances and excipients. Furthermore, as the main analyst, I participated in the development of generics MesulidR (active drug substance: Nimesulide) and NorgesicR (active drug substances: Paracetamol-Orphenadrine Citrate) via assay controls and dissolution studies. These generics have been approved by the National Medicines Agency and today are included in the Greek Army’s pharmaceutical portfolio.
