I did my Masters and Doctorate from Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi, Pusa, best institute in India as far as agricultural science is concerned, with Gold medal from the Institute and best student Award from the Department for Doctorate in 2004.Basically, I am a plant pathologist, with expertise in biotechnology as well as routine pathological works. I was associated with teaching research and extension works of the department at BAU, Ranchi where i was employed as Assistant Professor. I have guided two masters students and i was co-pi of a National Project at BAU Ranchi with IARI New delhi as main centre.I have worked as visiting scientist with Dr Neena Mitter at Brisbane australia for six months in the Department of Primary Industries and Fisheries. At present , I am working as Principal Scientist in the Division of Seed Science & Technology at IARI Pusa, New Delhi. I am National PI od Seed pathology group in AICRP NSP crops. My goal is to leave a mark in the area of Plant pathology, doing some novel research work if i get an opportunity.Specialties: Fungal pathology with specialisation in areas of Genetics, Molecular Biology and Biotechnology, Seed Pathology
