Designing, development and accreditation of microbiology laboratory as per ISO/IEC 17025. Maintaining microbiology laboratory in accordance with good laboratory practices (GLP) and in conformance with all company and regulatory requirements. Validation of rapid methods of pathogen detection in food products using new techniques like molecular detection system, VIDAS and RT-PCR. Implementation of RT-PCR based analytical methods in testing industry for rapid detection of pathogens, species differentiation in milk, identification and A1-A2 differentiation in milk.Analysis of milk, milk products, fruit & vegetable products for food safety (Pathogens - E. coli, Salmonella, Listeria monocytogenes, Shigella, Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus cereus, Sulfite reducing clostridia and Vibrio cholera by traditional and molecular method (Real Time PCR) and maintaining test reports & documents.Led projects and analyzed data to identify opportunities for improvement. Preparation of standard operating procedures, equipment operating procedures and quality manual for management of lab as per NABL guidelines.
