Dr.B.G.GEETHA received the B.E.(COMPUTER SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING) degree in 1992 at PeriyarManiammai College of Technology for Women from the Bharathidasan University. She completed her master degree M.E.( Computer Science and Engineering) in 2000 at Kongu Engineering College from Bharathiyar University. She received her Ph.D. degree in the area of Information and Communication from Anna University, Chennai in 2009. She has 27 years and 6 months of teaching experience. She is a Professor andDirector of the Department of COMPUTER SCIENCE AND ENGINEERING, K.S.Rangasamy College of Technology (Autonomous), Tiruchengode. She is working in DST-FIST sponsored college, NIRF-99 ranking college, DBT-STAR scheme sponsored and NBA-TIER I accredited department. She is recognized as a Supervisor for Ph.D. Programme and M.Tech (By Research) in Information and Communication, ANNA UNIVERSITY-Chennai. She is trained certificate holder of ‘High Impact Teaching Skills’ through WIPRO MISSION 1OX and Trained Evaluator and Resource Person of NBA (National Board of Accreditation) by AICTE, New Delhi. She is in the editorial board member of International Journals. She has published papers in international, national journals and conference proceedings. She is Guiding 16 Ph.D. research scholars and 12 scholarscompleted out of 16 scholars. Her areas of research include Software Engineering, Data mining, Cloud Computing, wireless networks, Image Processing and Big data analytics.
