I have exceptional experience in the various faculty ranks. As a Principal Investigator, I have secured and directed over $10 million in grants; I have participated in over $30 million in funding as a co-investigator, senior investigator, evaluator or educational lead. As a PI, I have directed multiple large budgets; much of this funding has been used to support graduate students. After 20 years, I have retired from the Colorado School of Mines and joined the College of Education at Texas Tech University. The College of Education is building a powerful research unit that will propel forward our understanding of how to teach Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) in an impactful manner across the K-18+ levels.My resume and full curriculum vitae is available here.
