I am a graduated engineer in the study of Building, Physics and Services and Doctor in computer science with a specialization in acoustics. During my graduation project I studied the history of acoustic room design before 1900. While accomplishing my Master's degree I also worked for two consulting companies, where I got to know the practical side of building physics. Therefore I could combine the practical knowledge and the theoretical knowledge of my study, in the position as a junior consultant in building physics and acoustics. After finishing my Master's degree and gaining work experience, I went traveling through Australia and Asia. During this travel, I had to go out of my 'comfort zone' numerous times, which taught me to be easily adaptable in stressful situations. Allthough the main objective of my travel was to grow as a person, I also published two articles, in the field of the history of acoustic room design, during this period. Between January 2014 and June 2017, I have worked as a PhD student computer science at LIMSI-CNRS at the université Paris Saclay. During this project I researched the use of room acoustical auralizations as a scientific tool.
