As CEO of this high-purity detergent, lipid, and custom chemical manufacturing company, I've had a wide range of responsibilities. From most recently divesting it from its previous ownership to the ongoing successful and profitable management of this 30-person operation. My primarily role at Anatrace encompasses all budgetary and P&L responsibilities, including strategic goal setting for the corporation, as well as its employees. I am also responsible for creating and implementing aggressive S&M plans for YOY revenue growth, while also providing detailed reporting to Anatrace lenders and investors. Specifically, I provide scientific, technical and operational expertise and financial analysis throughout the entire M&A process. As the Director of Life Science Reagents R&D, my cross-functional role was to provide leadership in three key areas: 1) R&D for Affymetrix's sub-branded products, Anatrace and USB; 2) management of Anatrace's physical facility; and 3) management of Anatrace/USB product applications. In this three-tiered position, I managed ongoing laboratory work, supporting research projects, data analysis and interpretation -- all in an effort drive the expansion of Anatrace's specialty surfactant products into new markets and bolster USB's molecular biology portfolio.
