I advise private equity investors, banks and debt funds as well as corporates in connection with the financing of leveraged buy-outs, corporate acquisitions and corporate lending. I have more than 20 years of experience practicing law in the European finance market. I hold a Ph.D. from University of Münster and I am admitted to practice in Germany.In addition to that I have experience as a supervisory board member and served as a member of the Global Board of Ashurst LLP from 2016 until 2019.After a long and interesting period working at international law firms including being on the board of Ashurst LLP I have together with Isabell Hitzer founded Astera Legal as of 1 January 2023 as a high-end finance boutique law firm with a clear focus on advising premium clients on leveraged finance transactions.I am also a Co-Founder of Narravero which provides a digital solution for supply chain transparency and digital product passporting.Besides the foregoing I am acting as Advisory Board Member.
