Dr. Elizabeth (Beth) Mansfield, PhD, MSc, RD integrates social science research in a systematic way to answer practical nutrition related concerns/questions such as, does labeling of menus with calories nudge people to eat less, are warning labels an effective paradigm for behaviour change? Her current research interests include the integration of a health literate approach to the front of pack labeling of foods with interpretive nutrition symbols to improve consumers' awareness and understanding of foods high in nutrients of public health concern.

The Ottawa Spring Horse Trials is part of the Ontario Horse Trials Association's Competition Calendar. Horse trials combine 3 equestrian disciplines (dressage, stadium jumping and cross country jumping) into one competition - you have to do well in all 3 to achieve success! Competitors in this sport will tell you that it is the thrill of galloping over solid obstacles that keeps them and their horses involved in the sport!
